    Checking oil level

    Morning all
Have noticed a slight oil leak on the bike, looks like a gasket.
Anyway do you check the oil level when the bike is on the centre stand.

I have checked in the manual and it said check from cold on level ground.

I did try and hold the bike upright with both wheels on the floor but was impossible to look into the sight glass.

I was last week to pick up my touring windscreen and I changed a few words with the mechanic and  confirm me that the oil level must be checked on level ground. Ask for help to someone to hold the bike.
Try to clean very good that area, take it for a few km and maybe you can identify the spot of the leaking.
But a trip to the mechanic will sort the problem.
