MCN - So does size matter?

If anyone has picked up a copy of this weeks MCN there is a comparison between the 950s and the 1260s using the famous MCN 250 road test. (Note to self, must try doing that route 1 day)!  :169:

As we already know, they reckon the 950s is the better bike, and they awarded it 4 out of 5 stars with a glowing review.  :152:

The only thing they didn't like was the screen and the buffeting... again, we already know that, but there are plenty of aftermarket screens to fix that little problem.

Damn, reading that article is making me want to scratch that itch to change my 950 to the 950s once again. I must resist! (well until March anyway!)

    Anybody else read the article?

Yes read the article and yes, though I love my current 950 (just a great all round bike) I too hanker after all the toys of the 950s.
‘Ruby’ will Likely have 20k+ miles on by the autumn so don’t know what I’d get trading  her in for the toys 🤔
Full of enthusiasm - in all the wrong places

so, as you know, as a recent 950s owner (  :001: ) i'd swear the buffeting/drone was (much) less on the 950s demo bike and my new 950s than the 2018 950.  it might be down to winds and speeds etc..but having re-installed the stock screen for the ride back to the dealer (to get the new one) i immediately noticed the problem at around 80kmh/50mph again...which i just don't seem to get with the new one (yet)  Will no doubt get back around to the spacers and the puig sport screen again...and then maybe one day I'll really see the light and go for the MRA variable
