    Hi there
Quick question ... would an OEM top box from a 2013 1200 fit my 2017 950?

So long as it is a mono-key box, it should fit fine. The fact that Givi as an Italian manufacturer tend to make the Ducati luggage also suggests it is likely to be a mono-key box.  However, the issue tends not to be the box, but that Ducati do not supply (AFAIK) the OEM top box mono-key mounting plate separately from the current Multistrada top-box.  There are other solutions, but it might be worth a chat to a Ducati dealer, or others here first.  Hope this helps.

As described in another thread you can in fact buy the MTS rack (inc. monokey plate) from a Ducati dealer as spare parts.

    Life is not a rehearsal . . .

Good stuff, I stand corrected ZiggyCol....perhaps again!  Makes sense it should be available.  Perhaps my dealer was telling porky pies at the time to sell me the Ducati box, as I had a Givi V47NT I wanted to use.

The rack being sold with the top box is for a 2013 1200 ... having done some research the rack system changed in 2015 so this rack won't fit my 2017 950.

Do Givi sell the rack system?

I think I might just end up going down the Shad route - they make it much easier to buy a rack and compatible top box.

The mono-key Ducati rack is apparently available as a spare part, so that is one option - Shad is another, and their is another adapter solution that clamps onto the existing rack (maybe SW Motech?).  Unless it's prohibitively expensive I would go with the Ducati option - I don't believe Givi sell one separately.  Let us know how you get on, as it would be good for other to know.
