Hi, just wandering if anyone knows what is meant to be done at a PDI. I have just picked up my new 950 and have already had the following issues: handlebar mounts had to be adjusted as mirrors were pointing skyward. Clutch was slipping when rolling throttle on in 4-6 gears. Checked adjustment and cable appeared to be too tight. Just checked the drive chain and it is extremely slack, 7cm+.
Just thinking what else should be checked!
    Bert

Bert - sounds like you need to find a better local Ducati dealer.
Sometimes you need a really crooked road to get your head straight

He may be limited for choice given his location...sounds like your dealer needs a rocket Bert!  Shocking.... :232:

Thanks, email sent to dealer last night, going back in tomorrow for a second go. Doesn't give a great feeling of faith and unfortunately only one dealer here on the island.

Yeh but the dealer is also fishing in a small pond so he doesn't want to piss you off either  :013:

The mirror thing happened to me but the rest of it is very shoddy. I would be back there giving it to them with both barrels. I mean, at least you knew to check these things, not everybody would.
Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.
