Top tip - Use a hairdryer to warm up the labels before attempting to remove them... they should then peel off cleanly and nicely

If the label wont peel easily, or if it leaves residue, get a tin of 'zippo' style lighter fluid and make sure you have lots of kitchen or workshop paper to catch the excess.

Pour a little onto the label and rub it in with your finger, pour a little more and rub it in, pretty quickly the label and the glue will start disintegrating. Keep wiping the excess and spillage outside the label with the kitchen paper to keep it under control.

I think I'll try using olive oil. (It is an Italian bike after all.)   :002:

I ordered from FC MOTO and got a 10% discount from their site.  Had it in 6 days from Germany to South Carolina.  These are all the pics I have.  It is very well made and sturdy.  These are all I have, only one with the metal top place in the kit.  Hope it helps.

labels just peel off, especially in warmer weather.  Any residue can be removed with kitchen roll and olive oil (yes, i know it sounds strange!)  WD40 also works i think

Just fitted my new Givi EA118 tankbag and BF11 Tanklock ring today.
Took about 5 mins from start to finish. Only tools needed were a 4mm and 3mm hex driver.

I'm a bit concerned about the unsupported part of the base rubbing on the tank paintwork so I might have to get some kind of tank protector pads.

Unfortunately the annoying E5/E10 label and the M+S tyre label don't do anything to help the situation so will be binned.
Any tips for removing them safely and cleanly ?

So far I'm impressed with the EA118 tankbag as it seems a well made bit of kit and it fixes securely to the bike.
Not so sure about the Security Belt as it's a bit of a faff to use and it's too short to use as a shoulder strap.

EftanD / zetaetatheta

Any chance of some more pics of the Shad system without the topcase fitted?

Shad kit D0ML17T seems to be the best bet for a luggage-only rack without breaking the bank and the additional bracing to the frame won't do any harm either.
